<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
- 1/2 cup salted butter, melted

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
- 1/4 cup condensed milk

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
- 1 cup sweetened shredded coconut

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
Directions

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
- Combine all crust ingredients.
- Pressed into PAM'd 7 x 11 glass pan

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
- Combine all topping ingredients. Adjust to taste depending on how sweet you want your bars to be.
- Press into the pan also
- Bake 325 F for 25 min
- Let cool and then sprinkle more shredded coconut on top to make it look pretty
- Let cool completely before cutting

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
Notes:

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
- Fine to use roasted and salted peanuts. Pulse in food processor until chopped
- Flaked coconut will probably work fine too - But shreded coconut looks prettier as final decoration
- 1 1/2 cup is about 18 squares of Graham crackers

- 1/2 cup Marshmallow creme

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
- 1/4 cup chocolate, melted

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
Servings: Makes about 12 mini pies

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; font-size: small;">

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
Directions

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
- Combine all crust ingredients together, and press into mini-muffin cups with cup liners

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
- Bake for 8 minutes at 350F

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
- Some pies may puff up after baking. Press them flat again.

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
- Combine all filling ingredients together, and spoon into each mini shell

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
- Bake for 2 minutes at 350F

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; font-size: small;">Serve: Warm or at room temperature
<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
Store: At room temperature

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
Variations:

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
- Can top with crushed peanuts. Shredded coconut will probably work great.

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
- <span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; font-size: small;">Don't top with powdered sugar. Will get absorbed by filling and looks bad.

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
- Should try adding in some additional Marshmallow creme at the very end to create marbled effect.

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
Notes:

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
- Can combine ingredients in a shallow mixing bowl with just a spoon. Nice little arm workout and that

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
- Recipe can be eye-balled, and crust and filling can be adjust to taste

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; font-size: small;">- Regular salted butter works fine in this trial. Key is not to overmelt. If butter melted to clear then re-start with new butter
<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
- Melt butter and chocolate in microwave. Key is to use 10 to 15 seconds at low power and stir in between as ingredients warm up and not overmelt. Total time of course depends on amount and coldness of ingredients.

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
- Used Honey Graham Cracker in this trial and crushed it using food processor. Very easy.

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
- 1 ounce cream cheese, softened

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
- 6 Oreo cookies, finely crushed

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
Directions:

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
- Gradually combine cookies into cheese

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
- Shape into balls

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
- Freeze for 10 minutes and then roll in coating of your choice

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
Variation:

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
- Melted chocolate coating is more work, but tastes great
- Powered chocolate coating is very but not as tasty
- Can also coat with melted white chocolate

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
- Mint Oreo cookies would probably be awesome

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; font-size: small;">- Can decorate with sprinkles, icing, nuts, mint candy pieces, lots of possibilities
<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; font-size: small;">- Can make bigger or smaller balls
<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">

Crust

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
- 4 oz cream cheese
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
- 1 cup flour

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
Filling
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 1/4 cup pecan, finely crushed

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
Serving: 24 mini-muffin sized tarts

Directions:
- Combine crust ingredients: cream cheese and butter first, then sift in the flour
- Once the dough is formed, cover in plastic-wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour
- While dough is chilling, prepare filling by combining all ingredients: Beat egg and vanilla together slightly, and then combine in all sugar, and then add in pecan. Adjust to taste as needed.
- To assemble pies, spray mini-muffin pan with non-stick spray. Divide dough into 24 balls. Press each ball flat into 3-inch circles, and push into each mini-muffin cup (no liner). Then spoon filling into each cup. Filling will expand so fill just below full.
- Bake 25 min at 350F or until golden brown
- Cool on wired rack

Serve: Warm or room temperature

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
Store: Cold or Room temperature

Variation:
- Can decorate with powdered sugar, or drizzled melted chocolate
- Probably also great with cool whip or ice cream
- Also works great with graham cracker crust
- Original recipe called for packed brown sugar, but since I ran out I added in granulated cane sugar, and it was just fine
- Add freshly ground nutmeg to the filling for a little extra kick

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">
Notes:
- To combine ingredients, can just use spoon in mixing bowls
- Salted butter was fine. Took butter from fridge and just slices into thin pieces to make it easy to combine.
- Leave cream cheese at room temperature for 15 min to make it easier to combine.
- To flatten dough, it's fastest to just press dough flat in your palm. No need to form exact circles.
- I toasted the pecans before I crushed it. Not sure if that helped but certainly didn't hurt.

Fixed that today by manually installing the Foxit Reader plugin into Chrome, so that you can read PDF files inside Chrome tab using Foxit.

1. Chrome Plugins folder -- Go to where your Chrome is installed (you can right click on the chrome shortcut to find out), but typically it's C:\Documents and Settings\[USER]\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\Application\ -- Make sure you have a subdirectory called "Plugins". If that's not there, create it.

2. Foxit Reader Plugin --- Make sure you have Foxit Reader 3.1 or higher installed, and also the Plugin installed -- Do this by going to "Help" ... "Check for Updates Now". If you see "Reader" or "Service Module .. Plugin" -- Select those to update.

3. Copy npFoxitReaderPlugin.dll "C:\Program Files\Foxit Software\Foxit Reader\plugins\" to "C:\Documents and Settings\[USER]\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\Application\Plugins"

4. From the command prompt, run
regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Foxit Software\Foxit Reader\plugins\FoxitReaderOCX.ocx"
with admin rights.

5. Re-start Chrome and try to read an online PDF file

6. Uninstall Adobe Reader, and reclaim 200MB+. Your computer will thank you.wandy sae-tanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03484773115609888267noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8613420.post-72874938641070749392009-10-10T21:55:00.000-07:002009-10-11T00:48:05.091-07:00[util] Tab Switching Keyboard ShortcutsThe Acer Netbook doesn't have trackpoint, so these are my new favorite keyword shortcuts to switch between worksheets and tabs:

Excel -- Ctrl+PageDown / Ctrl+PageUp

Web Browser (Internet Explorer / FireFox / Chrome / Opera) -- Ctrl+PageDown / Ctrl+PageUp OR Ctrl+Tab / Ctrl+Shift+Tab

wandy sae-tanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03484773115609888267noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8613420.post-23147990586462764042009-09-05T19:50:00.000-07:002009-09-05T19:50:33.421-07:00[code] User Agent / Browser Simulator in RubyTotally forgot that I wrote this early last year -- Test / simulate header response, redirect, and other behavior with user agent for various browsers, crawlers, and robots.
